A calm voice on the phone

When you call, we take your location and a description of the lock, confirm how soon a technician can reach you, and give you a quote. If you feel unsafe where you are, call 911 first.

Being ready for the situation

Have photo ID handy, or vehicle registration for a car. If your ID is inside, tell us; we will check once the door is open.

No surprises on price

The quote you get on the phone is confirmed by the technician before any work starts. If the job turns out to be different, we explain why and agree a new price with you before continuing.

What the technician does

  1. Confirms who you are and checks the lock.
  2. Opens the door using non-destructive methods where the lock allows.
  3. Tests the lock afterwards.
  4. Offers to rekey if your keys are lost.

Staying safe while you wait

  • Wait somewhere well lit, ideally with a neighbor or in a nearby open business.
  • Keep your phone charged and on.
  • Ask the technician for the company name when they arrive and check it matches the business you called.
